The Day Out (by Rowan)

One day we decided to go to a place called "Rennes" In Rennes we went to an art gallery which had lots of paintings and sculptures.After that we went to a fancy restaurant called "RACINE".Our waiter was really nice. For starters we had three different foods.The first one was a tomato in a potato ball😋🤗,the next one was a cracker with a mayonnaise thing with a herb on top and the last one was a small slice of melon with a leaf on top. Next we had melon with prawns in a tomato sauce with rocket ice cream!

And then we had the nicest duck I've ever tasted. It was tender and juicy and delicious. We had it with crispy aubergine and herbs. It was a caramel peanut buried in a ball of chocolate mouse with a bit of chocolate on top!It was DELISH! Afterwards we all felt stuffed so we just nibbled some biscuits.
